Alvaro Loran Week 7 Reflection Entrepreneurial Journal
Out of all the habits in the book, the first habit to be productive stood out the most to me personally. This principle stood out to me because it made me feel like I have control of my life and I'm not just somebody who can be controlled by my circumstances. To me being productive means that I have the power and the choice to be in control of my actions. This includes making sure I'm reaching my goals and making small steps every day that progresses me to where I need to be. Overall, this simple principle makes me feel more capable of making my own choices and becoming the person I want to be.
This simple habit also changed the way I look at difficulties and problems. This habit made me realize that I don't need to dwell on my mistakes or things that I can't control instead I need to focus on what I can do and make goals to move forward each and every day. This includes realizing that I'm a master of my life and that if there's a problem, I need to solve it. By being proactive I can more fully change my mindset to someone who can achieve anything. Realizing that I make time for things that are important and that my life won't control me. Being productive makes me personally responsible for my own success. It also helps me to realize that the choices I make are the things that determine if I will be mediocre in my life or if I can actually begin to have success.
By embracing this simple habit into my life, I feel I will be able to grow personally and as a business owner. As I recognize the power is mine, I can make goals that improve my life and professional development. Overall, this principle makes me personally responsible for being productive each and every day. This habit has made me realize the power is mine and every time I don't do what I need to do and make excuses that it takes away from who I could be.
